This is not the first time fake reports regarding Bollywood stars have come to limelight. Whether it is about the hoax of death or link-up rumours, people never leave any stone unturned to propagate fake news about Indian celebrities. The latest victim of such prank social media posts is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who starred in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil this year. She played a role opposite Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor wheras Anushka Sharma played female lead.
Someone morphed an old picture of Aishwarya Rai to give her a tonsured look and shared the image on social media with a caption claiming she had donated her hair at the famous Tirumala temple. The pic has been morphed skillfully enough to appears authentic, but the original photo of Aishwarya Rai clears the air. The internet is filled with similar fake photos of Bollywood actresses, many of which are vulgar and pornographic.
Aishwarya has been the victim of many such hoaxes. Few months ago, reports had started doing the rounds that she had committed suicide. Many such hoaxes of celebrities death keep coming up on the internet. Bollywood actors like Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan often fall prey to such fake news.
Recently Aishwarya was seen with her daughter Aaradhya at a famous Ganpati pandal during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Earlier in the week, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were spotted at the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Mukesh Ambani’s home also.
On the work side, Aishwarya will next be seen in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Fanney Khan. It is also heard that she will be seen romancing with R Madhavan in a film that also features Anil Kapoor.
