Dhanush bags Vijay Devarakonda’s Arjun Reddy Tamil Remake Rights

Actor Vijay Devarakonda’s stardom reached an unprecedented level in both Telugu state after the release of his latest youthful romantic entertainer Arjun Reddy. We have already reported that blockbuster  Arjun Reddy, will be remade in Tamil. Several top Tamil production houses vied for the remake rights amid a tough competition. According  to the latest update, Kollywood star Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films has bagged the  Tamil remake rights of  Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Arjun Reddy’. Sources say  that Dhanushacquired these rights for a whopping amount, and within two days the entire paper works will be done. It is heard that recently Dhanush watched Arjun Reddy in Chennai and he was very impressed with the content and it’s execution. In fact the actor & producer is planning to remake in Tamil and Hindi.  Arjun Reddy is all about the story of a hyper tensed medical student’s life changes in the course of love.

It is still unclear whether National award winning actor and Son-in-law of Superstar Rajinikanth's Dhanush will essay the role of Vijay Deverakonda in the Tamil remake or cast another happening hero in it.   If everything will go accordingly, Dhanush will make few changes in the script to give Tamil nativity touch and also reduce the controversial scenes and dialogues in the film. Let’s wait for official announcement from Dhanush regarding Arjun Reddy remake.

Arjun Reddy has earned over Rs 11 Cr share in the first week at the box office of both Telugu states. The Overseas box office collections have also crossed million dollars in its first weekend. The Telugu version has been also released with English subtitles across Chennai. What more is fascinating is the fact that the daring movie Arjun Reddy has earned more than Thala Ajith and Kajal Aggarwal 's Vivegam in the US and has added more shows to its kitty in Chennai's Mayajaal Multiplex despite the fact that Thala's movie was released and is running as its competitor.

Number of celebrities like SS Rajamouli, Samantha, KTR, Anu Emmanuel, Krish, Rana Daggubati have praised Vijay Devarakonda’s performance and the direction of Sandeep Reddy. Recently Spyder star Mahesh Babu also watched and called the movie, “Bold, raw, intense, original and brilliant”.
