Now days the film makers are coming up with unique concept and love to present the actor as Memory loss patients, anger-struck guys, and blind persons. In Keshava, Nikhil Siddhartha was seen suffering from Dextrocardia, a curious biological condition where the heart is on the right side. It is also heard that Ram Charan is playing deaf and dumb character in Sukumar's Rangasthalam 1985. Often we see some top directors carving out comedy scenes out of blind persons. Earlier few movies like Sirivennela, Preminchu, and Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi received accolades from the audiences though the main leads are blind in the movie. Recently young actor Raj Tarun played the blind role in Andhagadu. Now Mass Maharaja is also essaying blind character in Raja The Great. In movies like Sirivennela and Preminchu, the heroes were completely blind throughout the film. There is no cinematic twist to the storyline by suddenly making the lead character get back eyes and behave quite dramatically. The movie lovers completely loved such characters. But in recently released Raj Taran And Heebah Patel’s Andhagadu, the actor was seen blind in the first half whereas in the second half he got eyes and showcase heroism. The sources say that Raja The Great is inspired by Hollywood film 'Don't Breathe' where the lead character is totally blind throughout the film. Now we have to wait and see if Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is completely blind or only blind for half of the film.
Raja The Great, is directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creatio. The film also stars Mehreen Kaur Pirzada, Radhika Sarath Kumar and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. On the other side, Ravi Teja will also be seen in Vikram Srikonda’s Touch Chesi Choodu, which is being bankrolled by Nallamalupu Bujji and Vallabhaneni Vamsy under Lakshmi Narsimha Productions banner.
