- Predictable story-line
- Second half
Performance: Sai Dharam Tej delivers his fantastic performance as Siddharth Reddy. He carries his role with ease in energetic way and proved that he has ability to carry the responsibility of the movie on his shoulder. He looks handsome and energetic in designer costume. He impresses the audiences with his dance, body languages, way of dialogue delivery and actions. Rakul Preet Singh grabs the attention of the viewers by her glamour. She looks very hot especially in the songs. Jagapathi Babu justifies with his role as usual. Thakur Anoop Singh performed well. Ali, Prudhvi and Vennela Kishore’s comedy are highlighted. Other casts performs accordingly.
Technical: All the songs composed by SS Thaman are nice and the background score elevate the scenes. The Cinematography work of Chota K Naidu is highlighted and the colourful frames are the main asset. Production Values of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions and Leo Productions are rich. Action sequences and dances are choreographed well. The story line of the movie is simple but interesting. Screenplay is not well written. The dialogues are average and it did not leave any good impact to the audiences. Editing is ok but it could have been better in the second half. Director Gopichand Malineni has done good job but he should take care of the second half of the movie.
Analysis: Overall Winner is an emotional tale of father and son. The first half runs in hilarious way and the second half starts with the excitement but disappoints the audiences as the movie proceeds towards the end. Sai Dharam Tej has excelled in action, dance and sentiments. The director Gopichand selected simple story line but with the engrossing narration and commercial ingredients like action, romance and comedy, he became successful to engage the audiences throughout the movie.
