Nenu Local review: Nenu Local is Natural star Nani’s new film with Keerthy Suresh which is being produced under Dil Raju’s banner. Dil Raju is waiting for a family and youth hit from a long time and many audience are looking forward to Nenu Local review directly so they can watch the movie in theatres. Directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, who previously directed small time Love blockbusters like Mem Vayasuku Ocham and Cinema Choopistha Mava is expecting a big hit from this movie.
The film’s premise is not new to the Telugu audience but the making and story telling aspects can be applauded in Nenu Local Review. Devi Sri Prasad’s background scores and musicals will make us hum to the rhythm and feel the emotions in the second half. The movie is entertaining enough to cover it’s plot holes. The movie released on 3rd February, 2017.
Nenu Local Movie Review:
Nenu Local is a youth entertainer that’s entertaining at every point of it’s runtime because of the chemistry between Nani and Keerthy Suresh. Although, Keerthy Suresh’s character Keerthi is not the usual college going character, she entertains well in a Nerdy comic role. The main attraction is the character of Nani as Babu, who is practically every B.Tech student ever. Even though he studies MBA, Babu entertains as the back bench student who enjoys his life to the fullest. Nani has so much Local swag in the film.
Quick Nenu Local review: Though the story is old, Nani, Keerthy and DSP’s music never bores you out and Nani’s comic timing makes sure the time is running well in the movie. With some boring scenes in the second half, Nenu Local makes a good weekend entertaining watch with Family.
Compared with Nani’s previous films like Jandaapai Kapiraju and Krishnagadi Veera Prema Gaadha, the story is dull in Nenu Local and is similar to Nani’s recent hit ‘Majnu’ in terms of Entertainment quotient.
The story is penned by Prasanna Kumar Bejawada while Surender Reddy and Prasanna Kumar Bejawada delivered the screenplay of the film.
Story:
Nani(Babu) has a degree in life with which he never gets a job. Much to parents pressure, he decides to join MBA to find Keerthy Suresh(Keerthi) there and as any local guy, woos her till she falls for him. With an impotent boyfriend in her daughter’s heart, the rest of the story follows how Keerthi’s father dealt with Babu and his comic parents.
Sachin Khedekar plays the role of Keerthi’s father while Posani Krishnamurali and Easwari Rao played Babu’s parents.

The chemistry between Keerthy Suresh and Nani will always make you smile. Nani trying to impress a Nerdy and impossible to fall Keerthy with some love techniques is entertaining. The movie follows the routine villain and Win story after that and the second half takes away the entertainment in a few scenes. All in all, Nenu Local is about Love and Friendship and how you shouldn’t miss both when you are in your young age. Nenu Local Rating gets 3 stars for this honest and entertaining attempt.
The parents of both the lead actors do justice to their roles filling in the comic timing and emotional content of the film. Naveen Chandra plays a special role in the film.
Nenu Local is a definite hit among Family and youth audience.
