'Gautamiputra Satakarni' had a superb First Week. The collections, however, dropped very much in the 2nd Weekend. Till Yesterday, 'GPSK' generated a Share of Rs 45.28 crore and Gross of Rs 67.6 crore. It could be termed as a hit if the Worldwide share touches Rs 50 crore-mark. As of now, Only Above Average status could be guaranteed.

Class Audience & Families were expected to embrace 'Satakarni'. Surprisingly, 'Shatamanam Bhavati' began dominating in Week 2 and that's a big setback for 'GPSK'. 

Despite the exemption by both AP & Telangana Governments, All the multiplexes and single screens in few areas charged 15% entertainment tax. Distributors of 'GPSK' will be making few adjustments.
