"Nagabharanam" - Moive Review

11:27:00 AM
This week’s biggest release Nagabharanam starring Tamil Actress Ramya directed by Arundati fame Kodi Ramakrishna has been getting mixed response from the audience. The movie features Late Actor Vishnu Vardhan by using graphics which is a complete experiment.
Story :
It is all about a girl named Naganika whose forefathers were incharge to Lord Shiva’s monument which is treated sacred. While here comes the antagonist Tanthrik Kapali who occupies this monument by killing Naganika. During her death, she takes oath that she would take a rebirth to kill him brutally.
According to the promise, Naganika takes rebirth in the form of a snake woman and takes revenge on Kapali. How does Naganika take revenge on Kapali? What are the kind of hurdles she face meanwhile is the remaining story.
Cast Performance :
It must be mentioned that Ramya aka Divya Spandana has given her best shot in the career. This is the first time that she sported in such a character and did her best. Ramya has been really ferocious at times and this added much flavour to this revenge drama.
Another performer who isn’t alive but still added life to the movie is Late Actor Vishnu Vardhan. His graphics were quite pleasing and impressed audience. Other actors like Sai Kumar have given laudable performances.
Positives :
Impressive Graphics
Ramya’s performance
Experiment with Vishnu Vardhan’s character
Negatives :
Predictable Story
Technical Aspects :
Coming to the technical crew that has put in lot of effort for this movie has done justice to their respective roles. Director Kodi Ramakrishna is known for his fantasy movies and has put a good one in his kitty. The high end graphics were neat but few are just overdone.
The music given by Gurukiran is not actually so great while the BGM is okay. Editor Jhonny Harsha has done a clean work. The cinematography wasn’t so good while it could have been much better. Screenplay was good.
Analysis :
Audience who love the fantasy movies and graphic episodes will surely rush to the theatres while on the other hand there are a few technicalities that prove to be poor.
Kodi Ramakrishna who is c/o address to this genre movie doesn’t really have his mark. However, you might like it if you just want to spend time watching this predictable revenge story without expecting much from it.
