Tamil rights of Baahubali 2 sold for best price........

That Baahubali did phenomenal business when it released last year is known to us. So much so, it became the rare Telugu film which broke box-office records for dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu. And now, with so much anticipation surrounding the film, it is learnt that the film’s sequel’s dubbing rights in Tamil have been sold for a whipping amount of Rs 54 crores! Interestingly, the earlier film’s Hindi version alone was sold for Rs 50 crores and now it is to be seen what kind of business that film does. 

These rights include the satellite rights, the rights for the audio and video as well. Earlier Baahubali’s Tamil version was distributed by UV Creations and Studio Green but this time around, they backed off because of the phenomenal price.
